Kids at FBC

At First Baptist Church, we are passionate about making disciples. We teach and care for children from infants through 6th grade, helping them know and love Jesus. Every lesson is rooted in God’s Word and points to Christ.

Family Discipleship

At First Baptist, we believe ministry to children is more than childcare—it’s about making disciples. Scripture calls parents to be the primary spiritual leaders in their homes, and our role is to come alongside and support that calling.

  • Every household looks different, and so does the way faith is lived out day to day. There’s no single formula for discipleship, and it often comes with both joys and struggles. That’s why we are committed to walking with parents, helping them develop a discipleship rhythm that fits their family and strengthens their walk with Christ.

  • We encourage this growth in several ways: by creating opportunities for adults to serve in children’s ministry, where they can deepen their understanding of Scripture and grow as servant-leaders; through encouraging children to join in corporate worship and experience pastoral leadership; and by offering classes and resources designed to equip parents with biblical wisdom for raising the next generation.

KidCheck

At First Baptist, your child’s safety is an important part of what we do. That’s why we use KidCheck—a secure check-in system that ensures only authorized pick-ups, provides accurate emergency records, and allows quick communication with parents.
