Iron Youth Ministry
Better with you
As iron sharpens iron, so one sharpens another (Prov. 27:17)
Jr High
(Grades 6–8)
At DFBC Student Ministry, we invite junior high students to know Jesus personally, grow in their faith, and share His love with others. Our gatherings are all about building lasting friendships, digging into God’s Word, and enjoying life together. Come be part of a community where faith and fun go hand in hand!
Sr High
(Grades 9–12)
At DFBC Student Ministry, high school students are encouraged to take ownership of their faith, live boldly for Christ, and impact their world with the gospel. Together we grow through God’s Word, strengthen each other through authentic friendships, and have a blast along the way. This is a place to belong, believe, and be sent!
Wednesday Nights
Location: the “Iron Forge” Youth Room
6pm - 7:45pm
These gatherings are designed to provide a dynamic and engaging environment for spiritual growth and community building.
For 6th-grade students, the evening begins with the youth program at 6:00 PM and transitions to Awana at 6:35 PM. This structure allows for participation in both youth and children's ministries, ensuring a comprehensive spiritual experience.
These Wednesday night sessions are open to all students, providing a welcoming space to explore faith, build relationships, and have fun.
Small Groups
Place: The Mackley’s House
6pm-8pm two Sundays a month
At Danville First Baptist Church, Youth Life Groups provide a dynamic and supportive environment for students in grades 6–12 to grow in their faith, build lasting friendships, and engage in meaningful discussions. These groups meet on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month at 6:00 PM
Youth Events
Various types throughout the year
From high-energy kickoff events to community-impacting service projects and mission trips, there are many ways to be involved and grow deeper together. Highlights of the year include our Harvey Cedars summer camps, Camp Orchard Hill and Word of Life Canada snow camps and mystery event Destination Unknown. Events like camps require separate registration with the venues, but our in-house events require the Multi-Event Permission Form at the bottom of the page.
6th graders can join with most events throughout the year, but may need prior permission in some cases. Click below for more info.

FINANCIAL HELP
We never want money to be the reason why a student does not go on a trip. There is scholarship available to anyone who needs, especially for events such as snow or summer camp. Fill this out and return to P. Luke or the office by the time payments are due.
IMPORTANT FORMS
For in-house events, we require students to have the Multi-Event Permission Form to help the team in communication and any needs that may arise. This two-sided form covers the whole school year and summer.
